Rick Grice has always felt a deep appreciation to the men and women who serve or have served in the armed forces.  Having served himself in a time when people in uniform weren't so well treated, he has always gone out of his way to make past and present service people realize the respect they have earned.

Recently, Grice Energy, LLC and one of its best clients have initiated a program to put well-deserving returning veterans into the oil patch in high-paying entry-level positions.  Though the program is expanding to include other areas, as of now, all of these positions are in either Texas, California, or Utah. 

Anyone applying must fulfill all of the following criteria. 
 They must:
• Be willing to interview in Denver, Colorado at their own expense.  Travel from within Colorado will be compensated at a rate of $0.555 per mile.
• Be a recently or soon-to-be released military veteran.
• Have a strong commitment to safety and the environment.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Posses basic computer skills.
• Have good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Successfully complete a company physical.
• Successfully pass a drug and alcohol screen.
• Successfully pass a background screen.
• Provide proof of ability to work in the United States.
• Be able to legally operate a motor vehicle in the state of employment.
• Periodically work in inclement weather.
• Work a rotating work and call out schedule.
• Work extended hours , and respond on short notice.
• Be capable of climbing stairs, ladders and various equipment and be capable of lifting significant weight.
